Is it normal for people to get sea sick?

It’s very rare for someone to get sick at one of our experiences. The vast majority of experiences are held only in favourable conditions or we adapt the route. For that reason, the boats sail smoothly causing a great experience for all passengers.If you suffer from chronic motion sickness, in which you get sick even in the car, we recommend that you take a pill 30 minutes before boarding.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

If the weather is no go at all and the crew decides it is best not to go out for the sea, we recommend postponing your booking to a later date by coordinating with our team via whatsapp or email or, if not possible, will fully refund you.

How to change the date or time of my booking?

Have you booked an experience, but the date or time is no longer suitable for you? Don’t worry, we here to help. You can change your reservation depending on our partner’s availability and their cancellation policy. Get in touch with our team via whatsapp or email so we can help!

What if you cancel the booking?

Although rare, sometimes we may need to cancel a reservation. We understand that this can significantly impact your plans and will never happen without a verifiable justification. Rest assured that in the unlikely event that it happens you will automatically receive a refund or we can help you find a similar or better experience to rebook.

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats. For an exclusive experience, we recommend chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, we have access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 – 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask!

What should I bring?

We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with us regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, we recommend using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple!

Is fuel included in the charter price?

Fuel is included when you rent or charter a boat with skipper. When you rent a boat without skipper fuel is not included in the rental price and you will have to fill the tank before the check-out. Please contact us if you would like an estimate of the fuel cost of booking this boat.

Do I need a licence to rent this boat?

You must have a boat licence to drive this boat. The paper document will be requested on the day of booking, so do not hesitate to confirm the type of licence required for this specific rental (coastal, river, etc…). Please note that may not be possible to book the boat without being the skipper yourself at the time of charter.

Am I insured in case of problems with the boat at sea?

All boats available are insured. If the boat is damaged upon return, the boat’s insurance will cover up to a certain amount, and the rest will be taken out of your deposit. Please note that most incidents are settled out of court with the boat owner. 

Am I experienced enough to rent this boat?

Before accepting a booking request, we may carry out a check of the hirer’s nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. We can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with us via whatsapp or email.

How to change the date or time of my booking?

Is it normal for people to get sea sick?

It’s very rare for someone to get sick at one of our events.

The vast majority of events are held on the River Tagus or River Sado, which are highly protected from waves. For that reason, the boats sail smoothly causing a great experience for all passengers.

For events outside the rivers or on busier days, we always adapt the route so that everyone can enjoy the cruise to the fullest.

If you suffer from chronic motion sickness, in which you get sick even in the car, we recommend that you take a pill 30 minutes before boarding.

Can I add extra hours to the program during the event?

Yes, it is possible, as long as there is availability of the boat, the crew and all the staff.

It is always safer to hire overtime in advance.

Are there any time limits for the event?

Events can be held at any time of the day or night.

The only limitation is noise in case the boat is moored at the dock. If you want to have a party without limits of sound and animation, just have the boat sailing.

Are the schedules pre-set or is there flexibility?

The timetable is entirely chosen by the client and is naturally dependent on the availability of the boat.

What is the maximum capacity of boats?

Maximum capacity is not flexible and refers to the total number of people your group can have, including babies and children.

Is it possible to stop at a beach to take a dip?

Yes sure!

If you want to go diving, you must choose a duration of 3 hours or more and it is dependent on the approval of the crew.

The routes shown are suggestions. If you wish, it can be defined by you, as long as the contracted duration and the atmospheric and maritime conditions allow it.

Can I play my music?

All boats have a Bluetooth or USB connection (confirm on each boat’s page) where you can connect a device to listen to your music throughout the boat.

Is there catering on board? Can I take it?

These vessels do not have catering options.
However, you can choose to bring food and drinks (see conditions on each vessel).
Dark drinks such as red wine or red sangria are not allowed.

If you want to bring food or drinks, you also need to bring all the necessary support material (glasses, plates, cutlery, napkins, etc.).

Where is the meeting point and the pick-up and drop-off point?

The meeting point is shown on each boat’s page, as well as in the confirmation emails. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time.

We recommend that the timetable be adhered to, as any delay at the beginning is not necessarily compensated at the end.

Do weather conditions influence the tour?

If the weather and sea conditions puts in risk the safety of the vessel and the participants, the tour will be postponed or cancelled. In this case, you will be entitled to a full refund. If you wish to postpone for other reasons, we will always try to postpone it at the least possible cost.

What do I need to do to rent a boat?

To book your boat, simply choose the date of the tour in the table on the right, choose the desired option and fill in the requested fields.

Are the values shown the final values? How do I make the payment?

The values shown are total values with VAT included. The reservation is made directly online on the page of each boat or by whatsapp/email with full payment for the tour within 72 hours of the date. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card or bank transfer.

What are the cancellation conditions?
  • More than 60 days from the date: full amount refund
  • From 6 to 60 days from the date: return of half of the total amount
  • Less than 6 days: no return

In case of postponement: cancellation conditions apply, taking into account the first date.

In case of cancellation after postponement, there is no refund.

Due to lack of safety conditions due to weather or vessel problems: full refund.

COVID-19
In case of postponement due to positive case/customer isolation or travel ban defined by the authorities: full credit for twelve months.
