Terms of Use
Use of this service implies acceptance of the terms. The goal is to ensure transparency, security, and a smooth experience for all parties.
What I do for you:
As an independent consultant, my role is to ensure you make the best possible decision—quick, safe, and without hassle.
I commit to:
- Helping you choose the right boat, the right operator, and the right date for your group.
- Prepare and organize all the logistics up to the confirmation of the reservation.
- I'll confirm all the important details with you to avoid surprises.
- Suggest alternatives if weather or operational conditions prevent the rental from taking place.
Note: After the reservation is confirmed, operational communication will be directly between you and the operator.
This increases speed, clarity, and reduces unnecessary intermediaries.
What is the customer's responsibility
- Ensure that all participants are in adequate health to participate in the activity.
- Follow the safety rules and instructions of the crew.
To look after your personal belongings (I cannot guarantee their safekeeping).
Payments and Reservations
- The reservation is guaranteed with a payment of 50% of the total rental price (including extras).
- The remaining balance must be paid up to 7 days before the date of the event.
- Reservations made less than 7 days before the event require a 100% payment at the time of booking.
- After confirmation, the operator becomes directly responsible for carrying out the service.
- Payment via bank transfer or payment link (Revolut or Stripe).

Cancellations
Cancellation by the operator
If safety conditions do not permit evacuation (weather, malfunction, or situations beyond the operator's control):
➡️ Full refund.
Cancellation by the customer
When the customer cancels, the boat is immediately put back on sale.
If we manage to resell the date:
➡️ 100% refund, regardless of the cancellation deadline.
If we are unable to resell, the following costs apply:
- +30 days prior: 20% of the total value
- 29 to 16 days: 35% of the total amount
- 15 to 8 days: 50% of the total amount
- 7 days or less: 100% of the total value
Cancellation costs are always borne by the client, never by the consultant.
Insurance
All operators work with:
- Civil liability insurance
- Personal accident insurance (when applicable)
In addition, Arrábida Sea Ventures also has:
- Civil liability insurance até 50.000€.
- Personal accident insurance for participants, including:
- €20,000 death/permanent disability
- €3,500 treatment/repatriation expenses
- Coverage is valid for participants between 3 months and 75 years of age.
- Full compliance with Decree-Law No. 108/2009, Article 20.
